Rugby players of WFS Siedlce Veterans have greeted the New Year for the 8th time by playing a rugby match, traditionally it was the first match played in Siedlce in the 2017.
Players have been divided into two teams named after the colours of the shirts "Rekiny" (Sharks, green colours of Sale Sharks) and "Trutnie" (Drones, yellow-black colours of WFS Siedlce. The match was very balanced, which is emphasized by the end result, the draw 25:25, only tries were counted, first try of 2017 was scored at 01.14PM by Jan Czyż for “Sharks".
After the game, it was the time for the New Year's wishes accompanied by Russian sparkling wine. Too bad there was no snow this year as well. The game was organized by Miejski Klub Rugby.
